People are so into selling and buying goods online nowadays. With hundreds or maybe thousands online store popping up on the internet everyday, investing into an online marketplace can be seen as risky without proper strategic plannings and strong unique selling points.
So how do you develop a unique online marketplace? The answer is going back to the basic - by leveraging on one of the best marketing strategy there is - the words of mouth and providing exceptional fulfillment processes.

Social online marketplace where brands, influencers and their customers interact
Normal online stores or marketplaces are just about buying and selling. Interactions between the sellers and buyers are minimal and usually limited to Q&A related to the product. To be successful, Collectr decided to apply a totally different concept - a social platform where brands can have their own specific storefront to showcase their products and at the same time have their products displayed and promoted by influencers on a build in social platform.
By combining these two platforms into a single entity, brands will have the ability not only to showcase their products via their own storefronts but also through aggresive marketing by the appointed influencers. They can leverage on the influencers huge followings and increase the possible sales conversions. Apart from that, the social platform can be a reliable source of customers' feedbacks and these data can help the brands to improve their offerings.

Higher sales conversion rate though interaction marketing and efficient fulfillment
Survey and interviews were conducted to gather information and feedback from brands and a number of customer groups to identify their pain points and expectations when dealing with selling and buying via online platforms. Based on the results of the survey and interviews, the design success metrics were segmentized into three different pillars:
Product Recommendations
The first pillar of success metrics is to ensure reliable platform that allows the users to interact with the brands, influencers and with each other in order to gather valuable insights on the products showcased on the platform
Products Curation based on interest
Almost all online stores and marketplace just push all of their products to their viewers. In order to stand out from the rest, this platform must have the capability to curate products based on the customers' preferences
Efficient Fulfillment Process
Fulfillments and deliveries are one of the biggest challenges for any eCommerce platform. In order to ensure the success of this platform, a clear and efficient fulfillment process must be carefully planned and executed
// Product Recommendations
Higher chances of sales conversion when it comes from trustworthy recommendations
This is the first aspect to be considered in the design process. The UX and UI design must be presented in a way that it create trust between the brands, their products and the customers. The roles of the influencers play a big part in this. Thus, the need of an online catalog that allows the brands to showcase their products - from which the influencers can then choose the products from and promote them on the built-in social platform to their followers.

Don't show me all. Just show me what I want to see...
When you have thousands of products to showcase, you need to ensure that the platform will; have the ability to push and display products based on the customers' preferences. By doing this, the products and brands shown to the customers will be based on their interest. At the same time, there will also be a "Discover" mode on the customers' feed that will allow them to search for any product that is outside their preferences and interest.
// Efficient Fulfillment Process
Efficient order processing and fast deliveries
By onboarding the brands with physical outlets, Collectr is ensuring that the customers that their orders will be assigned to the nearest outlet with stock in order to ensure smooth delivery in the fastest time. Customers will have the ability to choose the delivery timeframe and also book for specific delivery timeframe that is convenient to them.

Redefining eCommerce via influencers marketing and fast fulfilment
This is truly a challenging project by Collectr and can be said as a truly make or break endeavour. The success of this platform relies on the ability to create a seamless user experience within a combination of multiple major features and requirements - an online marketplace, social media, referral system and efficient orders and fulfillments system that rely on well-coordinated and orchestrated efforts between the platform owner, the brands, the influencers and deliveries partners.
