Introducing ASTRA, Malaysia's very own car battery brand

Bateriku (M) Sdn Bhd, the leader in providing the nation-wide coverage of roadside assistance and car battery services introduces its own battery brand called ASTRA in order to disrupt the local car batteries market which was previously heavily depended on imported brands. 

Introduced as an affordable car battery with the specification that’s equal to top brands in the market. ASTRA utilizes the latest technological advancement to ensure the best quality and performance.

A battery brand that consumers can relate to...

Under normal circumstances, car battery brands will opt to showcase their products from the technological angles. Car battery packagings often bombarded with technical terms and jargons together with imageries of high performance vehicles.

ASTRA brand takes a very diffrent approach. Technical specifications are not the main highlights. Why? Because 95% of the consumers does not really care of these information. They just want to easily replace their battery and continue driving - trouble and hassle-free.

With this in mind, together with competitive pricing, The packaging of ASTRA Batteries needs to be a different from the other brands in the market by higlighting the ease-of-use, simplicity and affordability while still highlighting its technicality.

Enhancing visibilities through easy-to-understand and relatable information within a simplistic layout

Using a minimalist concept, this car battery box design move away from any conventional car battery box design. Unlike other car battery brands packaging that focus more on the technical informations, this design is going for a more approachable angle, opting for a more "explainable" and "understandable" information that users can easily understand.

ASTRA implements a more simplified layout for the text and color of the product while putting some unique elements to help it stand out further. The purple, black and white color of the ASTRA box makes ASTRA more distinguished on the battery shelf with its modern and pleasing color.

Besides the layout of the battery, ASTRA packaging also aims to educate users on Bateriku.com’s services on the battery box along with a simplified text on what the battery is all about. But that’s not all, there’s also some safety guidelines for customers to be aware of.

This minimalist approach runs away from the normal car battery packaging concept that are available in the market.
